The reason I no longer tank 5 manssince LFD tool came out is because I do not need to tank if I wantto get a group within a half hour now, I would rather wait 5 to 10minutes and dps instead, one of the main reasons I still tanked 5mans was because it was necessary in order to get a group quicklyor to get a half way descent tank at all. I have for the most partonly tanked 5 mans while the tank was afk or disconnected since theLFD tool came out, I used to be a PUG tank thru and thru when itcame to 5 mans.


I don't think I am alone here.

This is interesting because I changed one of my dps characters to ahealer so he could get through the queue faster. I would tank onhim but I just don't have the gear for it yet. So it's pretty muchthe opposite of you and I am going the healing/tanking to getthrough the queue faster.

Yes I do, I have 3 level 80s and 7 characters in the 70's...on the70's I que as healer or tank if they are capable because the dpsque is pretty long (15-20mins) - I only play 1 or 2 of them eachday tops though so I am not in a rush.


(it is the level 80 que for me that is usually 5 to 10minutes)


I usually go through all 3 toons everyday along with trying to hitweekly raids, VoA runs, and my usual raids. So I can be a bitpressed for time and speeding things up helps a lot. This issomething I bring on myself and I know I will slow down eventually,but for the time being - faster is better.

I'm not really sure what "fickelness" you are talking aboutas I was just providing some information on how I play and showingexamples of how one opinion/version is easily countered by someoneelse's experiences. You do have an interesting thoughshort-on-details opinion on what is "wrong" with the game and thedirection it should take. I definitely only have one main characterand the others are treated like alts (in my opinion).

How much play qualifies as "moderation" to you? I definitelyused to put more hours into the game even when playing onecharacter to get so many things done and now I feel like I'mplaying pretty relaxed and have plans to change things up some morein the future.
